A sharp tool for increasing production and efficiency -- converter fast pace steelmaking technology

Accelerating the pace of converter steelmaking is an important technical means to increase converter capacity, and it is of great significance. To this end, we have cooperated with Rongda engineers and technicians to carry out technical research and achieve excellent results, so that the converter fast-paced steelmaking technology has reached the world's advanced level. The achievements include the following main technical means:

The first is to maximize the role of the latent heat of molten iron and provide necessary energy support for eating more scrap and accelerating the early slagging.

The second is to adopt the operation process of scrap preheating and large scrap ratio, which can reduce the consumption of molten iron and oxygen and reduce production costs.

The third is to adopt the operation process of less slag, mature slag and residual slag to improve the dephosphorization/sulfur efficiency of unit slag and reduce the consumption of slag.

Fourth, improve the oxygen supply intensity and shorten the oxygen blowing time.

Fifth, improve tapping speed and save tapping time.

Sixth, adopt the operation process of slag retention and less slag method to shorten the time of slag splashing and furnace protection.

The seventh is to adopt artificial intelligence software to guide the artificial intelligence steelmaking technology of steelmaking, so as to improve the endpoint temperature and the endpoint carbon hit rate, reduce the after-blowing rate and shorten the smelting time.

The eighth is to take the technical measures of rapid furnace repair of water-based large fabrics to reduce environmental pollution and sintering time of furnace repair materials.

Through the implementation of the above eight technical means and measures, the achievement of converter fast pace steelmaking technology can finally achieve the following technical goals: first, shorten the smelting cycle by 3 min~5 min. Second, reduce the consumption of refractory and slag materials from 5 kg/ton to 6 kg/ton of steel. Third, economic benefit analysis: 50 tons of converter nominal tonnage × Take the converter steelmaking workshop of 3 as an example, which can produce 5 to 6 more steel heats per day, and can produce about 840000 tons of steel per year. More than 400 million yuan of profit is generated from the production of steel every year.
